Lucy Adams is a New York based filmmaker. 

At the core of her artistic practice is a thoughtful inquiry of themes surrounding landscape, stillness, and home.

Her short documentary, Lorrie Goulet: Spirit into Stone (DOC NYC) received support from the Made in NY Women's Film, TV & Theater Fund by the City of New York Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment in Association with the New York Foundation for the Arts, and premiered at the New York Museum of Modern Art in October 2019. 

Lucy was a recipient of the Valentine and Clark Emerging Artist Fellowship and member of Creative Culture at the Jacob Burns Film Center in 2016.

She is the producer of Blackheads (SXSWand the editor of Bug Bite (AFI Fest) and has produced videos for Oko FarmsThe Neuberger Museum, and other non-profit organizations. 

Lucy is currently completing her MFA in Integrated Media Arts (IMA) at Hunter College, and is an adjunct lecturer at CCNY.
